Tomás Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Eleder having to interfere. Atlético Vinland's Paulo Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Kazanowski in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Hechter during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Liniers FC's Fulgencio Hechter got a free kick in the 13th minute. Mauro Goiz, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 19 played minutes Atlético Vinland got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Goiz. Fabio Perfecto scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Niva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Vinland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prudencio Cresconio was slow to take the kick. During this time Liniers FC's players had a chance to rest. Prudencio Cresconio made a great header on Liniers FC's corner, it was just that Atlético Vinland's Paulo Niva managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo Niva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Perfecto in the 41st minute. Jairo Eleder came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Vinland's Tomás Brion. But to his dismay, Tomás Brion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

If Fabio Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liniers FC's Kazimierz Kazanowski got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Liniers FC's Prudencio Cresconio got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 81st minute Kazimierz Kazanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Atlético Vinland got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Goiz. After having played for 85 minutes, Kazimierz Kazanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liniers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Kazanowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Atlético Vinland booed when Liniers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Kazanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Jakobe charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Jakobe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Liniers FC booed when Atlético Vinland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Liniers FC were the better team. Liniers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
