Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albino Estebe got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Centro Español's zone, Marco Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Orzaize came out of the goal and Marco Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Naelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Centro Español's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Naelio came free, but Celestino Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Orzaize stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Naelio's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The supporters of Independiente booed when Centro Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Ariel Maore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Elequemedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 19 played minutes Centro Español got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Gombal. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Naelio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celestino Orzaize. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Reynaldo Elequemedo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Centro Español's Albino Estebe. But to his dismay, Albino Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Naelio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celestino Orzaize. That made the score 2-2 in the 30 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Gaitan during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Nemesio Gaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Centro Español's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Naelio came free, but Celestino Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Centro Español's Celestino Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Naelio in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Naelio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celestino Orzaize, 3-2. Celestino Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Naelio in the 49th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Naelio made a kick off. Horacio Etxekopar charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Etxekopar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 57 minutes into the match, Nemesio Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Orzaize. Centro Español's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Independiente:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Centro Español:s goal. Independiente:s Reynaldo Elequemedo showed great skill when he stopped Isaias Bidun:s penalty. Reynaldo Elequemedo came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Centro Español's Isaias Bidun. But to his dismay, Isaias Bidun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. 69 minutes into the game, Silvio Gregory was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centro Español the free kick. 71 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Estebe came free, but Reynaldo Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Elequemedo having to interfere. Marco Dominix scored 5-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Orzaize, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Gaitan in the 79th minute of play forced Centro Español's goalkeeper Celestino Orzaize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Orzaize was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Albino Estebe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Elequemedo. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Estebe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. When the referee ended the match the Independiente players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
