Arturo Milian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Guillelme kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Sebastian Cordairo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elenri fulbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Cordairo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Milian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, Celestino Pes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arturo Milian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cosme Nuxila fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugano's protests and gave Cosme Nuxila a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Cordairo in the 21st minute of play forced Lugano's goalkeeper Arturo Milian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Zacarias Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lugano defense, Zacarias Foro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Milian. The Lugano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Milian should have stopped the shot. After the first half Elenri fulbo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Foro to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lugano's Arturo Milian got control of the ball when Sebastian Cordairo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Foro in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Milian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zacarias Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Elenri fulbo booed when Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamin Turak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Calixto scored 1-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Cebrian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. German Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Cebrian having to interfere. In the 78th minute Zacarias Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Cordairo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Arturo Milian made a huge save. Arturo Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Foro in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lugano's German Beila got a free kick in the 85th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Lugano's German Beila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Cebrian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Elenri fulbo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lugano.
