A wasted opportunity for Rosario FC. 24 minutes into the match, Rosario FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Silveira came free, but Ricardo Ekain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Mon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Mattias Browall made a huge save. Ricardo Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. S de Chivilcoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Gombal to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Naike during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Silveira in the 76th minute of play forced Rosario FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Ekain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
