The CHACO FOR EVER fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when CHACO FOR EVER's Ruperto Librado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Peder Wållander came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by CHACO FOR EVER's Ruperto Librado. But to his dismay, Ruperto Librado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Douglas Haig's Peder Wållander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Haig from getting a goal against them. CHACO FOR EVER's Lino Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CHACO FOR EVER booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Peder Wållander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Librado. Lino Toribio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Librado might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peder Wållander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruperto Librado ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ruperto Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CHACO FOR EVER booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Librados short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Peder Wållander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ruperto Librado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Peder Wållander made a huge save. Silvestre Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Iruinea in the 30th minute of the match. Silvio Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peder Wållander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Librado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peder Wållander was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Douglas Haig's Peder Wållander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Haig from getting a goal against them. With his leg Peder Wållander managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when CHACO FOR EVER's Ruperto Librado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ruperto Librado struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Peder Wållander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHACO FOR EVER. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Oliverio was the one to do the kick off. CHACO FOR EVER's Silvestre Roderigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save CHACO FOR EVER from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of CHACO FOR EVER:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Douglas Haig:s goal. The referee gave Douglas Haig a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faustino Ignado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CHACO FOR EVER's Silvestre Roderigo. 2-1. 61 minutes into the match, CHACO FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Oliverio came free, but Silvestre Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Cecilio Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Silvio Iruinea made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Roderigo. CHACO FOR EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 74 minutes into the match, CHACO FOR EVER's goalkeeper Silvestre Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Iruinea. Silvestre Roderigo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Silvio Iruinea sent off a good shot on target. If Domingo Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Eliazar in the 89th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Peder Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Domingo Oliverio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Douglas Haig's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Oliverio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CHACO FOR EVER players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
