The referee ignored Astros Futbol Club's protests and gave Aaron Gines a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Higuera FC booed when Astros Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kacper Turok fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Higuera FC's protests and gave Kacper Turok a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Kacper Turok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Higuera FC's Omar Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 37 minutes, Omar Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higuera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute of the game Astor Garin made a throw-in which Aaron Gines played forward. After 41 played minutes Astros Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Ramos. Astros Futbol Club's Feliberto Etor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Astros Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 康伟远 made a kick off. In the 55th minute 康伟远 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Omar Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astros Futbol Club's Feliberto Etor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Omar Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higuera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Batistuta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Etor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Etor having to interfere. If Omar Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Huly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Feliberto Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
