In the 12th match minute, Perritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Iztal to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Gabriel Kepa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joaquin Locaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Perritos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Severino Horado hit a great ball. Joaquin Locaio made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gabriel Kepa sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Portugalete AFC's Joaquin Locaio got control of the ball when Gabriel Kepa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Perritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Horado to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Emilio Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Locaio having to interfere. A collision led to Perritos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aristides Montez hit a great ball. After the first half Portugalete AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Santo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Montez in the 56th minute of play forced Portugalete AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Locaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Portugalete AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Modesto Harriet hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Perritos's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Santo came free, but Emilio Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Oxel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Santo in the 69th minute of play forced Perritos's goalkeeper Emilio Oxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Portugalete AFC's Urbano Nikola got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Portugalete AFC booed when Perritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Paul didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Aristides Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Locaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Honorio Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perritos's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Xabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Locaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 played minutes Perritos got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Iztal. Teodoro Leoiar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Portugalete AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Perritos:s goal. When Aristides Montez came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Perritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Montez couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Locaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Xabier went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
