Raspaqueterraspa!'s Felix Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Giraldo in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Raspaqueterraspa!'s zone, Igor Umea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Polo came out of the goal and Igor Umea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 2-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Sixto Giraldo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Raspaqueterraspa! booed when Nueva chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Beltran having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Heli made a kick off.
