In the 16th minute Jimeno Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Cercado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Malvin. Sérgio Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cercado AFC's zone, Jacinto Iago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Bilbo came out of the goal and Jacinto Iago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hieronim Giec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute of the match, Octavio Hibai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Siro Udalaitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Octavio Hibai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 played minutes Cercado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Giec. If Sérgio Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Hieronim Giec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hieronim Giec made the kick off in the second half. Octavio Hibai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Udalaitz having to make a save. Hieronim Giec scored 1-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siro Udalaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes, Sérgio Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pombero FC and the Cercado AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Pombero FC got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Meira. Siro Udalaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavio Hibai went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cercado AFC's Lucio Inguma was substituted for Eriberto Cordarell. The supporters of Pombero FC booed when Cercado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Giec, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Cornelio Garoa made a precise shot to the right of Siro Udalaitz. Pombero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Hieronim Giec struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Siro Udalaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercado AFC. In the 79th minute, Hieronim Giec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Udalaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, Cercado AFC's Norberto Maldonado got a free kick in the 81st minute. With his leg Severino Bilbo managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Pombero FC's Sérgio Meira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Siro Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Pombero FC booed when Cercado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Pombero FC's Severino Bilbo threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carmelo Nesor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
