With a little luck, Cercado AFC's Severino Bilbo got control of the ball when Rene Afonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joshua Kimmich in the 7th minute. Hieronim Giec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliks Adamowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Roman Odon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Severino Bilbo. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Hieronim Giec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th play minute Aquilino Ostargi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Severino Bilbo. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Hibai in the 25th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Feliks Adamowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Cornelio Garoa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Boca Juniors's Feliks Adamowicz. Feliks Adamowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hieronim Giec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Feliks Adamowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Afonso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Severino Bilbo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Higinio Munio hit a great ball. Feliks Adamowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Severino Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Hibai in the 47th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Feliks Adamowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Afonso to make the kick off. Higinio Munio made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cercado AFC's Norberto Maldonado. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Afonso during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cercado AFC made a substitution. Lucio Inguma replaced Eriberto Cordarell. Jimeno Mattin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Aquilino Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Cercado AFC's Octavio Hibai got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Cercado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hieronim Giec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Feliks Adamowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Garoa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Feliks Adamowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercado AFC. Godofredo Pero hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Boca Juniors could leave the field as winners, despite Cercado AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
