Javier Oton charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Oton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A wasted opportunity for C A colon. 32 minutes into the match, C A colon's Gu Shi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliks Adamowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of C A colon booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, C A colon's Gu Shi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Feliks Adamowicz. Feliks Adamowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With his leg Feliks Adamowicz managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when C A colon's Gu Shi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute Amado Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Adamowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Feliks Adamowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gu Shi. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Severo Ciceron was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Joshua Kimmich hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Shi came free, but Feliks Adamowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Shi in the 72nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Feliks Adamowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gu Shi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Adamowicz having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Gu Shi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Feliks Adamowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Gu Shi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliks Adamowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Shi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C A colon's Severo Ciceron got control of the ball when Rene Afonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Gu Shi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C A colon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
