After a defensive mix-up in Santiago FC's zone, Esteban Seguinus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Eyague came out of the goal and Esteban Seguinus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Seguinus struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. David Eyague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taladracerebros. If Esteban Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Bernat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Gregorio Goiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Romulo Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gregorio Goiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 37 minutes, Esteban Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taladracerebros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Seguinus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ezequiel Vigil fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santiago FC's protests and gave Ezequiel Vigil a yellow card for diving instead. Ezequiel Vigil hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Esteve Perico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Eyague skillfully saved the ball. Taladracerebros's Gregorio Goiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Taladracerebros from getting a goal against them. If Romulo Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Florencio Naelio put in a rough tackle. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taladracerebros! The goalkeeper, Gregorio Goiz, was totally fooled by Santiago FC's Primitivo Etxatxu, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The wind increased when Esteban Seguinus made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Santiago FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Primitivo Etxatxu hit a great ball. Romulo Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anastasio Eneto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Eneto in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Goiz saved Taladracerebros from getting behind. In the 78th minute Romulo Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Perico's late challenge caught a Santiago FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Perico helped the player get up and apologised. 79 minutes into the game, one of Taladracerebros:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Santiago FC. Primitivo Etxatxu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gregorio Goiz. 4-0. Esteban Seguinus struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. David Eyague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taladracerebros. Gavino Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gregorio Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th match minute, Santiago FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Santiago FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
