Colazo AFC's Emil Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Colazo AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Jaunzuria got free with Emil Martinez in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Colazo AFC's zone, Albert Gorun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Martinez came out of the goal and Albert Gorun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Primitivo Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Tallia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Jaunzuria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emil Martinez came out and tried to block the shot, but Adolfo Jaunzuria slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Emil Martinez made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Adolfo Jaunzuria sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Bras during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of HellFishes FC booed when Colazo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Bras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Paz's late challenge caught a HellFishes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Paz helped the player get up and apologised. Emil Martinez had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Adolfo Jaunzuria's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 44th minute, HellFishes FC's Adolfo Jaunzuria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Martinez. Emil Martinez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Jaunzuria to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Adolfo Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Lander charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Paulino Tallia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emil Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Lander in the 95th minute of play.
