A collision led to borussia dortmund getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Roberto Oidor hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Nemesio Nafarroa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Gregory was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nemesio Nafarroa made the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Erdiano was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Hector Abadie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector Abadie really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Silvio Gregory didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Nafarroa went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Malanzán FC defense, Nemesio Nafarroa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Gregory. The Malanzán FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Gregory should have stopped the shot. The Malanzán FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Gregory should have stopped the shot. Ignacio Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Silvio Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. borussia dortmund's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
