The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pim Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Silvio Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pim Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malanzán FC! When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Neanderthal's Pim Pero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Silvio Gregory. Silvio Gregory didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pim Pero went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Silvio Gregory was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pim Pero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 31st minute, Neanderthal's Pim Pero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvio Gregory. Silvio Gregory yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Silvio Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pim Pero in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Malanzán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pim Pero came free, but Silvio Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Gaizkine to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Malanzán FC defense, Pim Pero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Gregory. The Malanzán FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Gregory should have stopped the shot. Neanderthal made a substitution. Lino Liher replaced Pim Pero. When Lino Liher came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Neanderthal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Liher couldn't finish the play. After having played for 65 minutes, Lino Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neanderthal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Liher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 minutes, Hernan Hanot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malanzán FC and the Neanderthal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernan Hanot hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Neanderthal's Armando Calisto was substituted for Prudencio Aureo. Hernan Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Lino Liher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Gregory showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Neanderthal booed when Malanzán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Neanderthal got a freekick which was hit by Lino Liher. 81 minutes into the match, Neanderthal's Lino Liher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Gregory narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Lino Liher made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Gregory. Malanzán FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 93rd minute Lino Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Gregory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
