Ignacio Dalmai struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tomas Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Albano Bittor's late challenge caught a General Paz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Bittor helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes borussia dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Albano Bittor. The audience held their breath when Leopoldo Cortez in the 46th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Eleuterio Erdiano's left hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nemesio Nafarroa made a kick off. borussia dortmund's Eleuterio Erdiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save borussia dortmund from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Roberto Oidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. borussia dortmund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave General Paz the free kick. Eleuterio Erdiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. General Paz's Tomas Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Nafarroa in the 64th minute of play. Nemesio Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Gamus having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Mauricio Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Paz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Dalmai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Osasun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teofilo Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Erdiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Oro in the 83rd minute of play. Albano Bittor got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Guillermo Jeraldo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Nafarroa in the 92nd minute of play forced General Paz's goalkeeper Tomas Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Nafarroa struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tomas Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for borussia dortmund.
