Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruben Firmo started the match with the kick off. Ruben Firmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Marcial Tajo made a huge save. Pedro Lluciano lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Rancagua AFC's Victorio Batista got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcial Tajo. After a rather tough play, F.C.Pigüé's Flavio Azibar got a free kick in the 12th minute. Primitivo Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Eate having to interfere. Marcial Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Firmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marcial Tajo was a little too slow when Ramiro Tajo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 29th match minute, Rancagua AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Chaime to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Firmo in the 36th minute of the match. Jeronimo Domiku hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Rancagua AFC's Victorio Batista broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Primitivo Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Resto in the 47th minute of play forced Rancagua AFC's goalkeeper Teodoro Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Primitivo Resto made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, F.C.Pigüé's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Chaime came free, but Marcial Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rancagua AFC's Ramiro Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Firmo in the 58th minute of play forced F.C.Pigüé's goalkeeper Marcial Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Eate made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Primitivo Resto sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute Ruben Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Flavio Azibar fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.Pigüé's protests and gave Flavio Azibar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, F.C.Pigüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Azibar to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Socorro hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Rancagua AFC's Ramiro Tajo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Tajo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 83rd play minute Primitivo Resto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teodoro Eate. 3-1. Ruben Firmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Tajo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes F.C.Pigüé got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Azibar. Marcial Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. F.C.Pigüé's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rancagua AFC had won, even though F.C.Pigüé had held more of the ball.
