General Paz's Tomas Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Sasoin in the 6th minute of play. After 6 played minutes General Paz got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Cortez. Raimundo Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tomas Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Urti was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, one of General Paz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Prospero Formerio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 25 minutes into the match, General Paz's Lisandro Carlomagno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Herauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, General Paz's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Formerio came free, but Tomas Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, General Paz's Leopoldo Cortez got a free kick in the 29th minute. Tomas Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Lera in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Flavius Lera notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of General Paz's Tomas Gamus. Tomas Gamus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 37 minutes, Eusebio Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doc-Tor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Doc-Tor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Dalmai came free, but Mauro Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. General Paz's Tomas Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Lera in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Cortez got free with Mauro Herauso in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavius Lera to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Mauricio Dalmai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doc-Tor FC's Mauro Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of General Paz booed when Doc-Tor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Lisandro Carlomagno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Mauricio Dalmai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Herauso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mauro Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Doc-Tor FC's Paolo Sasoin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Doc-Tor FC booed when General Paz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Gamus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ciriaco Pueblo. If Eusebio Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Herauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Flavius Lera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomas Gamus. The goal made the score 1-2. 92 minutes into the game, Flavius Lera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Gamus. Flavius Lera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The General Paz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Doc-Tor FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Doc-Tor FC.
