An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Yang Di in the 11th minute of play forced Malanzán FC's goalkeeper Silvio Gregory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yan Yang Di came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ultratumba Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Yang Di couldn't finish the play. Yan Yang Di struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Silvio Gregory didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ultratumba Junior. After 23 played minutes Malanzán FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Damario. Georgi Voynikov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvio Gregory. Malanzán FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Georgi Voynikov fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ultratumba Junior's protests and gave Georgi Voynikov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Malanzán FC booed when Ultratumba Junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georgi Voynikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Saturnino Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvio Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Francis in the 34th minute of play. Ultratumba Junior's Mario Servando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Gaizkine in the 36th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Martin Gaizkine made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Yan Yang Di made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Gregory. Malanzán FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Yan Yang Di received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Silvio Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ultratumba Junior's Victorino Tallia was substituted for Saturnino Francis. The audience was convinced that Yan Yang Di's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Gregory was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Mario Servando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Damario in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Yan Yang Di managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultratumba Junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Yang Di was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Yan Yang Di got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvio Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Yang Di in the 87th minute of the match. Ivan Bibiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Gregory came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ultratumba Junior's Yan Yang Di. But to his dismay, Yan Yang Di quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Yan Yang Di received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silvio Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Malanzán FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ultratumba Junior were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
