Mauro Herauso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Duardo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Doc-Tor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Duardo to maneuver through the defense. If Mario Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiricocho FC's Ciriaco Chap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Lera in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Gurutz to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Enrique Gurutz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Herauso. Doc-Tor FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Gurutz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The supporters of Doc-Tor FC booed when Kiricocho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Hug took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciriaco Chap. Kiricocho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciriaco Chap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Formerio in the 61st minute of play. Ciriaco Chap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Lera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Doc-Tor FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kiricocho FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
