Prospero Formerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Eate having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Doc-Tor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Firmo came free, but Mauro Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Leras short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Teodoro Eate to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Chaime in the 41st minute of play forced Doc-Tor FC's goalkeeper Mauro Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Firmo in the 43rd minute of play. Mauro Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavius Lera to strike the kick off in the second half. Doc-Tor FC's Mauro Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Doc-Tor FC from getting a goal against them. Doc-Tor FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Ramiro Tajo scored to the left of an out of position Mauro Herauso, making the score, 0-1. 57 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rancagua AFC's Ramiro Tajo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Doc-Tor FC's goalkeeper Mauro Herauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Sandalio. Flavius Lera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Eate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Rancagua AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Lera in the 85th minute of play forced Rancagua AFC's goalkeeper Teodoro Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doc-Tor FC's Mauro Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Doc-Tor FC from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Ruben Firmo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Herauso. The goal made the score 2-2. 95 minutes into the match, Doc-Tor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Firmo came free, but Mauro Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Flavius Lera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doc-Tor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavius Lera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Eate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
