Hernan Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Dalmai, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Çağrı Tükelay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eleuterio Erdiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Çağrı Tükelay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, borussia dortmund's Eleuterio Erdiano got control of the ball when Evaristo Txilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Coquelle's late challenge caught a borussia dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hernan Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gravedadvelocity's zone, Nemesio Nafarroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Taurino came out of the goal and Nemesio Nafarroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the game, borussia dortmund's Nemesio Nafarroa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Taurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
