The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eusebio Chesus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Eusebio Chesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Mannuel having to interfere. Ramiro Lando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Furman went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute ASCE FC were awarded a corner. Justino Sayvion went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ASCE FC's corner Justino Sayvion fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jimeno Mannuel quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jimeno Mannuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Intxixu in the 55th minute of play forced DIESTER FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Mannuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored DIESTER FC's protests and gave Fulgencio Pasqual a yellow card for diving instead.
