A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Daniel Lixandro with Carlinhos Barros as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 21 minutes into the match, Segundero's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Dimo came free, but Iwan Starogardzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Sportivo DeContra's Silvinho Cunha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwan Starogardzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Louis in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Starogardzki saved Segundero from getting behind. Iwan Starogardzki came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo DeContra's Amadeo Louis. But to his dismay, Amadeo Louis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Segundero defense, Albino Dimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Starogardzki. The Segundero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Starogardzki should have stopped the shot. Nereo Gar charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Gar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nereo Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Albino Dimo made a precise shot to the right of Iwan Starogardzki. Segundero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Iwan Starogardzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Sportivo DeContra's Amadeo Louis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iwan Starogardzki. That made the score 0-6 after 51 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvinho Cunha in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Starogardzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segundero's Iwan Starogardzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Cunha in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Segundero's goalkeeper Iwan Starogardzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeo Louis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Emesto in the 63rd minute of play forced Sportivo DeContra's goalkeeper Hermengildo Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Sportivo DeContra's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Emesto came free, but Hermengildo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikolaj Kalinowski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The Segundero fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Segundero's Celestino Gabrio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 70th match minute, Sportivo DeContra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Todor to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Starogardzki stood somewhat misplaced when Amadeo Louis came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 74 minute. When Melquiades Urtsua fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segundero's protests and gave Melquiades Urtsua a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Melquiades Urtsua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sportivo DeContra's Silvinho Cunha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Segundero. Iwan Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Dimo in the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Louis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Starogardzki was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Segundero's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Dimo came free, but Iwan Starogardzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Louis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Iwan Starogardzki made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Javier Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segundero's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Emesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Gonsalvo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Amadeo Louis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo DeContra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. The supporters of Segundero booed when Sportivo DeContra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Dimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo DeContra played a much better game than Segundero and deserved their victory. The Segundero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
