With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Mirande in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Hoffmann saved Manchester United from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Froilan Ekain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yuri Hoffmann. Froilan Ekain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Yuri Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Yuri Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Roldanillo. Manchester United's Yuri Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Mirande in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Manchester United were awarded a corner. Isaac Endira went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Manchester United's corner Isaac Endira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramiro Lando quite easily take care of the ball. ASCE FC's Ramiro Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Endira in the 22nd minute of play. Remigio Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Yuri Hoffmann made a huge save. After 31 played minutes, Manchester United's Diogo Galvão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Lando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United reached it. In the 31st match minute, ASCE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Chesus to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ASCE FC defense, Isaac Endira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Lando. The ASCE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Lando should have stopped the shot. Ramiro Lando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Endira went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Manchester United's Yuri Hoffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, ASCE FC's Remigio Roldanillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yuri Hoffmann. Yuri Hoffmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Yuri Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Roldanillo in the 53rd minute of play. Anibal Iaki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ramiro Lando made a huge save. Anibal Iaki scored 2-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Lando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Alberto Mirande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Hoffmann was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of ASCE FC booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Isaac Endira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute of the match, Anibal Iaki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramiro Lando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sergio Rafe hit a great ball. Rigoberto Matthew lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 98 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Matthew. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ASCE FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
