In the 10th minute Rafael Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Monteverde's Camilo Sarracino got control of the ball when Amadeo Louis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pastor Berenguer kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Erubiel Ted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hermengildo Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dario Santio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteverde's protests and gave Dario Santio a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sportivo DeContra's Silvinho Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Sarracino. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute, Camilo Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Pastor Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvinho Cunha in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Sarracino saved Monteverde from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Rafael Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Ted to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Amadeo Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo DeContra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Louis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rdth minute of the game Silvinho Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monteverde's Camilo Sarracino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Silvinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Cunha in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Cunha in the 66th minute of play forced Monteverde's goalkeeper Camilo Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Sarracino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Cunha in the 68th minute of the match. Camilo Sarracino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo DeContra. After a rather tough play, Sportivo DeContra's Jimeno Sol got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Sportivo DeContra's Hermengildo Gonsalvo got control of the ball when Pastor Berenguer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Amadeo Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Sarracino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Santio to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Dario Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Silvinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Sportivo DeContra players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
