Manchester United's Yuri Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Araoz in the 14th minute of play. Isaac Endira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Manchester United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Yuri Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Berriotxoa in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Berriotxoa came free, but Yuri Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Berriotxoa in the 30th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Yuri Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Harriet in the 33rd minute of the match. Fidel Guillelmus hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Yuri Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Harriet's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 35 minutes, Rigoberto Harriet made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Manchester United's Yuri Hoffmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Israel Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Yuri Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anibal Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Mostoles F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Endira came free, but Atilano Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Mostoles F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Yuri Hoffmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manchester United's Anibal Iaki got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilano Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Berriotxoa in the 59th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Yuri Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Isaac Endira got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Anibal Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Rigoberto Harriets short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Yuri Hoffmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jacobo Berriotxoa took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Hoffmann. Yuri Hoffmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mostoles F.C played a much better game than Manchester United and deserved their victory. The Manchester United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
