Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Dario Santio fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteverde's protests and gave Dario Santio a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Monteverde got a freekick which was hit by Dario Santio. In the 6th match minute, Saguier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes Monteverde got a freekick which was hit by Dario Santio. 11 minutes into the match, Saguier's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Ted came free, but Braulio Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Delmar Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Saguier got a freekick which was hit by Americo Gentza. Pastor Berenguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monteverde's Camilo Sarracino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Ugaitz in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Ugaitz in the 21st minute of play forced Monteverde's goalkeeper Camilo Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saguier's Braulio Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Berenguer in the 23rd minute of play. Pastor Berenguer scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Salvidor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Saguier getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Severiano Gilesindo hit a great ball. Monteverde's Pastor Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pastor Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 minutes, Sixto Seber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saguier and the Monteverde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Saguier got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Seber. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Americo Gentza hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Monteverde's Erubiel Ted managed to work through Saguier's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Erubiel Ted dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 61 played minutes Saguier got a freekick which was hit by Americo Gentza. If Pastor Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Sarracino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Fabio Froylan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saguier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Braulio Salvidor had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Erubiel Ted from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Monteverde's zone, Fabio Froylan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Sarracino came out of the goal and Fabio Froylan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Froylan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to Saguier getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Americo Gentza hit a great ball. Monteverde's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
