With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th match minute, Viento Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Eyague to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Edgard Senio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carolo Abechuco. Edgard Senio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Samico AFC booed when Viento Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Gaufred went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Viento Norte's Hernan Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Manny in the 80th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Fernan Gaufred got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samico AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
