The referee gave Marcelino Sasoin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of EL COMANDANTE SIUUU booed when Sovieticos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Truylos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 15th minute, Alfredo Di Stéfano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Nalo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Rito saved EL COMANDANTE SIUUU from getting behind. After having played for 20 minutes, Ernesto Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sovieticos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Nalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Rito was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Garoa came free, but Marco Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Albano Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sovieticos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Gaitan charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Gaitan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes, Sovieticos F.C's Alfredo Di Stéfano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Rito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sovieticos F.C reached it. Sovieticos F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
