The supporters of Fusion FS booed when Viento Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Telo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fusion FS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jairo Telo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Jose Gentza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fusion FS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viento Norte the free kick. Teobaldo Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute, Anastasio Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fusion FS's Jairo Telo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Geronimo Larpe in the 60 minute of the game. After having played for 62 minutes, Eusebio Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fusion FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Fusion FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. Saul Figueroa charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Figueroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Viento Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Eusebio Peio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 72nd match minute, Viento Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Silviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hernan Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Viento Norte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Romo was slow to take the kick. During this time Fusion FS's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Fusion FS's corner Daniel Jusepe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hernan Fernandez quite easily take care of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Viento Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Peio came free, but Hernan Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Eusebio Peio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fusion FS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Donato Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Peio in the 89th minute of play forced Viento Norte's goalkeeper Hernan Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 90th minute of the match Anastasio Eyague completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anastasio Eyague a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Silviano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Fernandez was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
