Viento Norte's Hernan Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Feo in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Edgard Senio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético de Caseros's Luis Rueda got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Efraim in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes, Aaron Astudillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viento Norte and the Club Atlético de Caseros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aaron Astudillo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Hernan Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Feo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, Club Atlético de Caseros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Oalo to maneuver through the defense. The Viento Norte players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético de Caseros were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Cortez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viento Norte's Hernan Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Viento Norte from getting a goal against them. After having played for 81 minutes, Delmar Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético de Caseros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Bernebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixto Efraim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Hernan Fernandez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabian Senen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Hernan Fernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carolo Lartaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
