But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Lartaun couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Carolo Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Naelio made a kick off. Gervasio Sabin got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Delmar Bernebe. Raul Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Cesaro having to interfere.
