Spectators: 7325 (Terracing: 5495, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Loren kicked off to start the match. Zeledon Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Canibal PR's Nestor Mikelats got a free kick in the 4th minute. Zeledon Rivas came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Canibal PR's Francisco Elazar. But to his dismay, Francisco Elazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Tadeo Galtero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Rivas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zeledon Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Canibal PR booed when SPortivo Moretti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. SPortivo Moretti's Zeledon Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Elazar in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Tadeo Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Tadeo Galtero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Rivas. SPortivo Moretti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Galtero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 32nd minute Francisco Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SPortivo Moretti's Zeledon Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Galtero in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind SPortivo Moretti's goalkeeper Zeledon Rivas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by SPortivo Moretti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Nofre was slow to take the kick. During this time Canibal PR's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Canibal PR's Nestor Mikelats to fire away a dangerous shot which Zeledon Rivas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zeledon Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Tallia in the 47th minute of play forced Canibal PR's goalkeeper Namık Kemal Tosun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Canibal PR were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Acosta to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, SPortivo Moretti's Hugo Ulizes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hugo Ulizes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SPortivo Moretti protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hugo Ulizes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in SPortivo Moretti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Canibal PR. Ruperto Nofre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zeledon Rivas. 0-6. Nestor Mikelats made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emanuel Burutzagi however managed to control. Francisco Elazar scored 0-7 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Rivas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, SPortivo Moretti's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Acosta came free, but Zeledon Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Galtero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Segundo Acosta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeledon Rivas. Segundo Acosta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. 83 minutes into the game, Enrique Frascuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SPortivo Moretti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canibal PR the free kick. After 83 played minutes SPortivo Moretti got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Frascuelo. Zeledon Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Acosta in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Canibal PR's Tadeo Galtero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeledon Rivas. Zeledon Rivas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. SPortivo Moretti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Segundo Acosta scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Rivas, making the score, 0-11. In the 94th minute, Segundo Acosta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zeledon Rivas. The goal made the score 0-12. Zeledon Rivas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Acosta in the 98th minute of play. Canibal PR played a much better game than SPortivo Moretti and deserved their victory. The SPortivo Moretti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
