Kutlu Ilgaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Elazar in the 42nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Acosta to strike the kick off in the second half. Mármol AFC's Kutlu Ilgaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Elazar in the 52nd minute of play. Edmund Borre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Namık Kemal Tosun having to interfere. The supporters of Canibal PR booed when Mármol AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Canibal PR's Fabio Enol got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Anier Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Galtero in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kutlu Ilgaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
