An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Rojelio in the 28th minute of play forced Mármol AFC's goalkeeper Kutlu Ilgaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutlu Ilgaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Janpier in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute River Plate were awarded a corner.
