The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Higinio Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Salomon in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the F.C. Titulares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Barrionuevo should have stopped the shot. Higinio Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Salomon in the 10th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, F.C. Titulares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Hitz to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arturo Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Barrionuevo having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Villafañe got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Ixona. The F.C. Titulares players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villafañe were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Nicolas Cisco made the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Rolado struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Arturo Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Titulares. 53 minutes into the game, Nicolas Cisco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Higinio Barrionuevo. Nicolas Cisco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Nicolas Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Barrionuevo having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Nicolas Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villafañe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Cisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Hitz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bernardo Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Pedroso having to interfere. Arturo Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Martxel in the 74th minute of the match. Virgilio Salomon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, F.C. Titulares's Faustino Hitz got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Nicolas Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villafañe's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Cisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Salomon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Virgilio Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Barrionuevo having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Baldomero Santikurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernardo Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute.
