An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Evarado in the 45th minute of play forced Mogote FC's goalkeeper Bruno Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tomas Salvadore hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Jose Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Bemabe was the one to do the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Mogote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Theodore came free, but Bruno Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Etxahun having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Mogote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Ospetsu to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Mogote FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
