Juan Chico hit a great ball. San Telmo's Fabian Mouricio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Bemabe in the 30th minute of play. Ovidio Fero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. Bruno Etxahun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Fero in the 35th minute. San Telmo were furious when Ignacio Guipuzkoa was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. San Telmo's Tadeo Arixo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristobal Geleberto, made in the 85th minute of the game. With a little luck, San Telmo's Fabian Mouricio got control of the ball when Andres Bemabe tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that San Telmo were the better team. San Telmo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
