ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's Fernando Hierro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pablo Intxixu in the 10 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in DRJ's zone, Fernando Hierro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Sendoa came out of the goal and Fernando Hierro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's goalkeeper Marcos Mirande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Abadie. ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's Fernando Hierro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pablo Intxixu, made in the 17th minute of the game. Marcos Mirande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, DRJ's Julian Bernal got a free kick in the 24th minute. Damian Sendoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Nel went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the game, Fernan Nel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DRJ the free kick. A collision led to ARGENTINOS JUNIORS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Damian Sendoa came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's Fernan Nel. But to his dismay, Fernan Nel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half ARGENTINOS JUNIORS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Lluc was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to ARGENTINOS JUNIORS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fernando Hierro hit a great ball. When Severino Lluc fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DRJ's protests and gave Severino Lluc a yellow card for diving instead. Victorino Orixe struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Damian Sendoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARGENTINOS JUNIORS. In the 71st minute, ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's Fernan Nel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 74th minute, Fernan Nel made a precise shot to the right of Damian Sendoa. DRJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in DRJ's zone, Jose Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Sendoa came out of the goal and Jose Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernan Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Damian Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Damian Sendoa, was totally fooled by ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's Jose Vasco, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Abadie in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Mirande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernan Nel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Damian Sendoa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The DRJ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ARGENTINOS JUNIORS's performance. The match ended with a win for ARGENTINOS JUNIORS.
