After 11 minutes, Luisito Tristan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavalango and the Mendiolaza fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cavalango getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luisito Tristan hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Mendiolaza fc's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lastur came free, but Bonifacio Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Urtun in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Burni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Mendiolaza fc's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lastur came free, but Bonifacio Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Mendiolaza fc's Jesus Ederono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Taurino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luisito Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bonifacio Burni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cavalango's Octavio Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Pereyra in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Miguel Lastur notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mendiolaza fc's Bonifacio Burni. Bonifacio Burni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfonso Herena lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Cavalango:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mendiolaza fc:s goal. Cavalango:s Octavio Taurino showed great skill when he stopped Isidoro Vedillo:s penalty. Arturo Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Cavalango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Lastur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Joaquin Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavalango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Burni made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Luisito Unai sent off a good shot on target. Mendiolaza fc's Bonifacio Burni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mendiolaza fc from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Maximo Urtun in the 67th minute really tested Bonifacio Burni's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Cavalango's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Pereyra came free, but Octavio Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cavalango's Octavio Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Pereyra in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Mendiolaza fc booed when Cavalango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Unai scored 0-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Burni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesus Ederono scored 1-4 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavio Taurino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luisito Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mendiolaza fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cavalango were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
