Spectators: 7334 (Terracing: 5502, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pastor Ekialde kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Pastor Ekialde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Union de Santa Fe's zone, Luisito Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Rami came out of the goal and Luisito Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Rami didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Urtun went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pastor Ekialde might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Taurino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Ekialde ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Pastor Ekialde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Union de Santa Fe's Pastor Ekialde got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pastor Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Cavalango got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Gartzen. A collision led to Cavalango getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Miguel Lastur hit a great ball. Eloy Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Unai in the 26th minute of play. Eloy Rami didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Unai went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Maximo Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Pedroso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Eloy Rami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eloy Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Gaspar Gartzen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavalango and the Union de Santa Fe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Union de Santa Fe's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 46th minute of the game, when Efrain Ondino after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Cavalango's goal. Efrain Ondino was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Urtun to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luisito Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Maximo Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Urtun in the 58th minute of play forced Union de Santa Fe's goalkeeper Eloy Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Taurino having to interfere. Samuel Erasto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Lázaro Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Urtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Rami having to interfere. Eloy Rami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Union de Santa Fe's Manolo Antecha got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Gaspar Gartzen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Rami showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eloy Rami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Urtun in the 94th minute of play. Luisito Unai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eloy Rami came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisito Unai slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 95th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Unai got free with Eloy Rami in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cavalango players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
