Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Cavalango's Maximo Urtun got a free kick in the 4th minute. Artemio Lertxun hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Gaspar Gartzen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Lehoi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cavalango's Octavio Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Lertxun in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chicoana AFC's zone, Luisito Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Lehoi came out of the goal and Luisito Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chicoana AFC's Samuel Lehoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Urtun in the 18th minute of play. Marcos Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Taurino having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chicoana AFC's Carmelo Calvino got a free kick in the 29th minute. Samuel Lehoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Unai in the 31st minute. Cavalango's Octavio Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Cordera in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Maximo Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavalango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Urtun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Maximo Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Lehoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Montez struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Octavio Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicoana AFC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Urtun to make the kick off. If Luisito Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Urtun took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Lehoi. Samuel Lehoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 58 played minutes Chicoana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Calvino. In the 62nd minute, Maximo Urtun made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Lehoi. Chicoana AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Donostia during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cavalango booed when Chicoana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Donostia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Montez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Octavio Taurino came out and tried to block the shot, but Feliberto Montez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 68th minute. Marcos Weterio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Chicoana AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luisito Unai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Lehoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Unai in the 83rd minute of play forced Chicoana AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicoana AFC's Samuel Lehoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Urtun in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Artemio Lertxun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octavio Taurino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 90th minute, Chicoana AFC's Feliberto Montez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Feliberto Montezs short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Octavio Taurino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
