Freddy Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Freddy Oto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mendiolaza fc's Bonifacio Burni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Pereyra in the 25th minute of play forced Hijos del Patriarcado's goalkeeper Genaro Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Hijos del Patriarcado's protests and gave Ramon Lohitzun a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Hijos del Patriarcado got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Lohitzun. Geronimo Pereyra's late challenge caught a Hijos del Patriarcado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
