Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th match minute, Polvorines AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Pere to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes Polvorines AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Botello. Luciano Tancredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Feliu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Clayton Clayton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Txaran in the 24th minute of the match. If Victor Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clayton Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Ongile in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Isaac Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Tancredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Feliu in the 36th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Txaran to strike the kick off in the second half. Clayton Clayton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaac Txaran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 54 minute of play. After 57 minutes, Emanuel Florian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polvorines AFC and the C.A. Sporting players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A. Sporting booed when Polvorines AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Florian didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Froilan Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Txaran got free with Clayton Clayton in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Leonel Demesio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clayton Clayton having to interfere. If Delmar Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Froilan Ongile had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clayton Clayton. C.A. Sporting's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Ongile was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The Polvorines AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Polvorines AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
