The supporters of Deportivo Tangie booed when Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad's zone, Pedro Kismi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Lalla came out of the goal and Pedro Kismi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Lalla having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Roano got free with Teodosio Lalla in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Lalla made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Honorio Roano sent off a good shot on target. If Ceferino Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Librado in the 21st minute of the match. Teodosio Lalla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Kismi went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Teodosio Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Lalla made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Honorio Roano sent off a good shot on target. Libertad's Teodosio Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Librado in the 35th minute of play. Pedro Kismi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Lalla. Teodosio Lalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 43rd match minute, Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Umea to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Deportivo Tangie's Honorio Roano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodosio Lalla. Teodosio Lalla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Librado made a kick off. Libertad's Teodosio Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Kismi in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Virgilio Restu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Tangie the free kick. After a rather tough play, Libertad's Virgilio Restu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pedro Kismi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Teodosio Lalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Tangie. Teodosio Lalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Teodosio Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Roano in the 85th minute of the match. Baldomiro Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Lalla having to interfere. Libertad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Librado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 96 minutes into the match, Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Librado came free, but Teodosio Lalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Tangie walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
