When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Mundo made a kick off. C. A. Jaguares del Sur's Emilio Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Dimo in the 52nd minute of play forced Arroyito 's goalkeeper Justino Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
