Jaguares del Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Pelagius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Oton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Deportivo Chilecito getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Felipe Tadzio hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Miguel Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Oton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Aristides Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Jaguares del Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Deportivo Chilecito's Gogo Oton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Telesforo in the 66th minute of play. If Emilio Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. A. Jaguares del Sur's Cristobal Millan was substituted for Florentino Mundo. Cristobal Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Chilecito's Ahmet Çağrı Rodriguez got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ahmet Çağrı Rodriguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Silvestre Maties made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Deportivo Chilecito's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Pelagius came free, but Gogo Oton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes, Deportivo Chilecito's Bartolo Dacio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvestre Maties came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Chilecito reached it. Cristobal Millan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gogo Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo Chilecito getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Angelo Calisto hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Aristides Dimo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Oton skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C. A. Jaguares del Sur had won after a very even match.
