Sativa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Eguzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Ostadar in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Olando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sativa F.C's Rodolfo Eguzki got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Olando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Ostadar's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arocena's zone, Rodolfo Eguzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Olando came out of the goal and Rodolfo Eguzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Galsino kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Arnulfo Montes struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Higinio Raymundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arocena. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Ostadar made a kick off. If Gonzalo Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Rodolfo Eguzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higinio Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Montes in the 73rd minute of play. If Rodolfo Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Florencio Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Arocena's Florencio Olando got control of the ball when Cristobal Ostadar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes, Orlando Mantzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arocena and the Sativa F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sativa F.C booed when Arocena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Olando having to interfere. When the match was over Sativa F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arocena throughout the match.
