The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Sampacho AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Montes got free with Adan Mino in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adan Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Maore in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute Danilo Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Olando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Norino charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Norino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Moises Norino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Etxeberri in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Olando saved Arocena from getting behind. After 16 played minutes Sampacho AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Tonio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Aballe during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Arocena got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Aballe. Danilo Etxeberri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florencio Olando having to make a save. 22 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arocena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sampacho AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Arocena's Arnulfo Montes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Marciano Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Sampacho AFC's Danilo Etxeberri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florencio Olando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sampacho AFC's Danilo Etxeberri got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Arocena's Moises Norino got a free kick in the 36th minute. Florencio Olando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Etxeberri's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Marciano Soter came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sampacho AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Soter couldn't finish the play. Danilo Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Adan Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Maore, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Filiberto Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Mino having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Sampacho AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Maore came free, but Adan Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Olando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Etxeberri's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Marciano Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Arocena's Gaudencio Edorta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Marciano Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Marciano Soter came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Sampacho AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Soter couldn't finish the play. Florencio Olando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Soter in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arocena's zone, Danilo Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Olando came out of the goal and Danilo Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adan Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Abechuco in the 86th minute of play. Filiberto Maore took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adan Mino. Adan Mino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 92 minutes of play, Sampacho AFC's Danilo Etxeberri made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Olando was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Sampacho AFC's Marciano Soter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Olando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Sampacho AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
